With this analysis tool dedicated to the metal research and mechanical tests, we provide adequate answers to your needs in a quick, reliable and confidential way.

Machining :

Mechanical tests :

  • Tensile tests at ambient temperature: Young modulus determination, yield (sy) and ultimate strengths (su), elongation (A%) and reduction of area (Z%). Identification of basic behavior laws of material
  • Impact testing: resilience (KV) from -6o°C to ambient
    Charpy V-notch machine 300J [F]
  • Hydrogen embrittlement test
  • Aging sensitivity test:
    4 traction benches available: 200, 300, 3000 and 26 000kN

Metallographical studies :

  • Image analysis: grain size measurement, inclusion measurement, phases analysis.
    Automatic polishing machine 4 samples, microscope with numerical output (magnification from 50 to 1000)

Physics studies :

  • Heat treatment: monitoring of temperatures with thermocouples,
  • Hardness measurments: Brinell and Vickers hardness, conversion to Rockwell,
  • Jominy Test: hardenability measure
    laboratory furnace from 20 to 1100°C; Vickers hardness (100 and 400 magnification), mass from 300g to 30kg.
